A respected tastemaker in Calgary’s nightlife scene, DJ Sonidef has built a reputation for her eclectic musical style and ability to move seamlessly between genres. Drawing from house, disco, R&B, hip hop, dancehall, and electronic influences, her sets are energetic, soulful, and packed with infectious grooves.
Beyond the decks, Sonidef is a passionate advocate for women in nightlife and is a co-founder of BACK & FORTH, one of Calgary’s first all-female DJ events, dedicated to creating space and opportunities for women behind the decks.
