Music Program - Adult Band & Choir
**This program is for adults between ages 18 and over.

All instruments and voices welcome. Previous experience is encouraged for instrumentalists. No experience required for vocalists. We will meet weekly to play songs chosen by the band, hang out and build community as we play and jam together.
Several performance opportunities are available throughout the year (performing is always optional!)

We are all doing too much. It’s time to do less. Our wonderful group facilitators Kiley (aka your resident gay big sister) and Claire will be sitting and doing nothing and want you to join them. We’ll meet in the park by the River Cafe and sit and watch the clouds go by.
This meeting will be facilitated by Outlink group facilitators. Participants are welcome to sit and do nothing. There is no expectation of productivity or conversation, just be.
This is a free, drop-in event. No registration is required.
This event is part of our newly implemented Lavender Teatime structure where we host a monthly special event in addition to our two other regular monthly meetings! Lavender Teatime is a community group for those whose identities are informed and understood in relation to experiences of queer womanhood, including trans, non binary, and cis folks as they feel comfortable in this space. Students will meet weekly where they will learn the basics of vocal anatomy, warming up the voice and singing songs that they choose as a group. New participants are admitted any time throughout the sessions.All identities, bodies and levels of experience are welcome!

Friendly conversation in a safe, supportive and welcoming online environment. This is a chance for older members of our community to support each other and meet new people. Open to older adults 50+ who identify as 2SLGBTQ+ community members and folks who are allies.
Join us for a relaxing afternoon of playing around with and sculpting clay together. We'll provide the supplies, just bring yourselves!

When you arrive, dial the intercom code at the door to be let in (this will be provided later). Take the elevator to the 4th floor. Turn right when you come out of the elevator. The Board Room is on the left hand side. Please follow the signs to the room! We'll let folks in until 2:30, so please arrive before then!

Public health and the safety of our communities is very important to us! The following safety practices are put in place for our in-person programming:
Wearing a mask is strongly encouraged.
If you have any cold, flu, or Covid symptoms (ex. fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose), we ask that you please do not attend.
There is a Shigella outbreak in the Beltline area. Please wash your hands before eating and after using the washroom to prevent the spread. Hand sanitizer is available as well.
The maximum capacity for the room is 25 people. The room can fit about 12 people comfortably.

In this sing-along show, genderqueer/trans singer Ari Agha (they/them) tells stories and leads us in using our voices to build the queer-affirming world we want to live in, creating community in real time while fighting transphobia. Created by and featuring Ari Agha, directed by Robert Farid Karimi (he/they), with piano by Mackenzie Lyn Marr (she/her).

This can include any combination of music/sound creation (soundscapes/songwriting/composition etc.) with lyrics, poetry, spoken word, hip-hop, rap, visual art, crafts etc. Students can work solo or collaborate with others on their creations.
