💥 Come for the fandoms. Stay for the fantasy. 💥Let’s get nerdy, babes.
Come join Queer Calgary for a fun evening of board games, laughter and fun! We welcome anyone to attend, whether you’re a newcomer to gaming or an experienced board game enthusiast.
This event is happening at The Sentry Box. Please note that The Sentry Box is made up of two separate business entities. To access the building, please enter through the west entrance into the Sentry Box, not The Sentry Box Cards. We’ll be on the upper mezzanine, and signs will be placed on the tables to indicate our tables.
Please be aware that this event is not wheelchair accessible due to the approximately 9 stairs into the building.
However, please remember that these events are meant to be a safe space for the Queer community. Transphobia, homophobia, and discrimination of any kind are not welcome. Being a safe space also includes being respectful of photography. Before taking any pictures including people, please always ask for permission.
You can RSVP on Meetup here! Please note you are not required to sign up to attend, all of our ongoing programs are always open to walk ins!

A casual drop-in celebration at the 3rd Annual Queerly Disabled Friday, August 22nd, from 1 pm to 4:30 pm at Calgary Scope Society
Join us at the Calgary Scope Society, Friday August 22, 2025 from 1 pm - 4:30 pm for our 3rd Annual Queerly Disabled Event.
Queerly Disabled is an event celebrating the intersection of queer and disabled identities. This year we will be having an all ages mini market, presentations and popcorn!!
Our event aims to foster a safe and supportive space where everyone can come together to share their stories, ask questions, and celebrate our unique identities. This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, make new friends, and learn from other queer and disabled artists or from local organizations that support queer and disabled folks.
Throughout the day, you’ll have the chance to check out local artists across Alberta's art, jewlery, plants, etc. Or learn and connect with local non-profit organizations. Or just come for some popcorn and to hangout! Either way all are welcome!
Come together with Pride Calgary, Indigenous leaders, and City hall officials as they honour the 2SLGBTQ+ community in a powerful opening of Calgary’s weeklong celebration of Pride at City Hall’s Municipal Plaza.
